Ongoing Workshops

Challenging White Supremacy Workshop (check out www.cwsworkshop.org for a current schedule)
San Francisco, CA
CWS workshops have been designed by a group of white anti-racist organizers. We believe our special responsibility is to help white social justice activists become principled and effective anti-racist organizers -- both to challenge our white privilege and to work for racial justice in all our social justice work. Offers fifteen-week workshops on becoming an anti-racist activist and organizer. They also offer shorter workshops for organizations that are looking for trainings. The workshops will begin in March running Sundays from 4-7:30pm and will end in June.

Crossroads Ministry (check out www.crossroadsministry.org for a current schedule)
The mission of Crossroads Ministry is to dismantle systemic racism and build anti-racist multicultural diversity within institutions and communities. Through our training and organizing programs community-based, educational, religious, and human service organizations form anti-racism teams and work to lead their institutions in a process of effective long term anti-racist transformation.

Dismantling Racism Trainings (check out www.thepeoplesinstitute.org for a current schedule)
The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond
The People’s Institute believes that effective community and institutional change
happens when those who would make change understand how race and racism function as a barrier to community self determination and self sufficiency. Undoing Racism,™ with an understanding of the construct of race in America and the role that it plays in community enables the organizer to be transformed and begin the process of community empowerment.
