Sharing Privilege: Young People of Color with Wealth Speak Out!
This book will reveal the untold stories of young people of color who have earned or inherited wealth and how they are directing it toward social justice. Where did the money come from, how does it feel to be a person of color with class privilege, and what are the options for giving back? Honest answers to these questions are hard to find, and impossible to find in print.
In addition to personal stories, the 100-page book will include articles and opinion pieces on race & philanthropy and a resource section. “Sharing Privilege: Young People of Color with Wealth Speak Out!” will be published in late 2008 by Resource Generation’s CORE program.
