For over 10 years, Resource Generation
has been organizing young people with financial wealth to leverage their
privilege and resources for social change. The Donor Organizing
Institute provides young people with wealth with the tools
and skills needed to build community, take action, and deepen their
commitment to creating lasting social change.
The Donor Organizing Institute
is a 3-day training designed for young people with wealth who are ready
to sharpen their donor organizing skills, build and strategize with
other young people with wealth from around the country, and take action
for social change! Participants will:
- Build relationships with a national community
of young people using their privilege for social change
- Learn new outreach and organizing skills
- Practice using their story to inspire and engage
young people with wealth, family & friends
- Strategize with other RG chapter leaders or create
a plan for new local work
- Develop skills & learn tools to engage in RG’s
first national campaign!
When: 12pm Friday,
May 21 – 3pm Sunday, May 23, 2010
Where: San Francisco,
