Resource Generation offers a variety of programs for young people with wealth to explore how their financial resources relate to social justice and provide tools for them to take action. We also offer forums to promote cross class and intergenerational dialogues about money, class, and philanthropy. Our programs include:
- A National Workshop Series for young people with wealth in seven cities across the country that covers topics ranging from giving plans to social change financial planning to money and relationships.
- Local Dinners, in cities across the country, are an informal community space where young people with wealth can support and challenge each other to align their resources with their values, and learn more about Resource Generation.
- We're a co-sponsor of Making Money Make Change, a national, annual gathering for progressive young people with wealth.
- The Catalyzing Our Resources for Equity (CORE) Program promotes racial equity in the field of philanthropy, and offers workshops and retreats for young people of color with wealth.
- Donor Organizing Institutes for young people with wealth interested in learning how to use their own story, class background and access to organize other donors and to help move more resources to progressive social change movements.
